Description

Your first task is an accent up Morefield Brae where you get a cracking view over Ullapool and along Lochbroom. You’re now going to turn right at the top of the hill to take you along past the recycling centre. From here the track gets a bit rougher but nothing you can’t handle.

When you come to the fork in the track stay left and cross the small wooden bridge. Which will lead you up a steady climb, you might need to get off the bike to push at a few spots as the track quite eroded and getting rougher.

As you reach the top it levels out and then a small descent takes you down to Loch Dubh Beag. Here you can grab something to eat. In the distance, you can just make out a dam between Loch Dubh Beag and Loch Beinne Deirg

All the hard work is done and you can enjoy the return cycle with a descent back to Ullapool, take care on the rough track as there are some deep holes, but it’s good fun too!

Your now back on the main road where you can take in the amazing view down the loch as you cruise down Morefield brae…….time for a coffee!
